Prior to working at Meroni & Meroni Alex worked at the USPTO in their medical devices examination unit. There, he worked with a litany of medical devices varying from surgical robots to arterial stents and pediatric artificial hearts. In addition, he has contributed as a board member, contributor, and editor for various intellectual property publications including the John Marshall Review of Intellectual Property Law, the JMRIPL blog, and the Pop IP Blog. Alex is well versed in both U.S. National and PCT Practice and is highly experienced with legal issues relating to the America Invents Act and other new developments in patent law related to newly passed patent reforms.
